May 2–3 · Crocker Theater, Aptos
Santa Cruz Dance Theater brings Coppélia to the Crocker Theater this May, a sparkling, laugh-out-loud ballet that proves classical dance can be downright hilarious.
Featuring an eccentric inventor, a hilarious will they-won’t they, and the worst fiancée you’ve ever seen, Coppélia is one of ballet’s most beloved comedies. Set to Léo Delibes’ buoyant score, it’s fast-moving, colorful, and endlessly entertaining for audiences of all ages.
Perfect for first-time balletgoers and longtime fans alike, Coppélia is joyful, accessible, and doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Join us May 2–3 for big laughs, beautiful dancing, and a ballet that’s pure fun.
